    🍰 About Your Edible Cake Wrap

    Turn a birthday cake into an action-packed comic-book scene with our Superhero Pop Art edible cake wrap, featuring bold red, blue, yellow and green panels, dramatic city skylines and classic “SMACK!”, “BOING!” and “BOOM!” effects. Our cake wraps are printed on edible wafer paper or premium icing sheets with food-grade edible inks.

    Each sheet measures 11.7″ × 8.32″ (A4) and can be trimmed into strips to fit round cakes from 4″ to 12″ in diameter, with cake heights from 4″ to 8″.

    Measure the height and circumference of your cake and plan the sheet quantity before ordering.

    A slight overlap between strips is normal and helps ensure complete coverage around your cake.

    Example:
    A 4–6″ round cake, 4″ high, requires approximately 2 strips cut from one A4 sheet.

    🪄 How to Apply

    1. If your cake has been refrigerated, allow it to come to room temperature.
    2. Remove any backing from an icing sheet where applicable, then trim the selected edible sheet to fit.
    3. Gently press the wrap onto the cake.
    4. Smooth the seams lightly using clean, dry hands. If needed, use a small drop of water to help seal the seams.

    For best results, apply an icing-sheet wrap to buttercream or fondant. The icing sheet will gradually soften against the frosting, helping it blend with the cake while remaining easy to slice. Wafer paper may require a suitable edible adhesive depending on the cake's surface.

    For dummy cakes:
    A thin layer of piping gel can be used to attach the wrap.

    🧺 Storage & Shelf Life

    • Store flat and sealed in the envelope provided.
    • Keep away from direct light and heat.
    • Do not refrigerate or freeze.
    • Shelf life is approximately 6–12 months when stored correctly.
    • For the best flexibility and colour vibrancy, we recommend using the printed wrap within 2–3 weeks of printing.
